After completing internships under Jen Wagner Co. and Jeanne Oliver Designs, Lo started her own freelance company in 2015 designing and rebranding for multiple companies across different industries. Since then she has worked with many amazing brands, being apart of collaborations that include Virgil Abloh, Naomi Osaka, and summer walker. From weddings to skincare brands to e-comm platforms, Lo’s passion for class and excellence is reflected in all of her work. Lo is currently a senior marketing designer at harness AND lead designer at agency 414.

How did you get into design?

I was offered an internship when I was 15 with Jen Wagner Co. She designs gorgeous typefaces now which have been used by well-known authors and companies. Summer Friday’s just used one of her fonts on their Jet Lag Mask packaging!

What are some other creative outlets you have besides graphic design?

Music, fashion, and food are big ones for me. I released a single back in 2018 that landed four TV placements. I create fashion content for my instagram as well as cook and experiment on the daily. Entrepreneurship is another; I’ve had my own businesses since I was 13. Blogging, calligraphy, sketching/painting, writing poetry and music, photography, videography, creative direction, interior design, even crocheting haha. Name a creative outlet and I’ve probably tried it.

So why graphic design as the main outlet?

I think it’s one of those things that doesn’t limit me to one specific industry. I could design an album cover for Billie Eilish or packaging for Sisters and Seekers. I’m passionate about creating and I love that I don’t have to tie myself down to creating one thing.
